Soundgarden Day #3

Soundgarden Bar in Chungdae is a great spot for listening to live music, and here’s your chance with another “Soundgarden Day” event this Saturday!  It’s a night of live band music, starting at 10:00pm.  There is no cover charge.

Lineup:

10:00- Narck, a “total core” rock band from Seoul

10:50- Dead Man Switch, a Cheongju foreigner band playing alternative rock (The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, Red Hot Chili Peppers,…)

11:40- Mad Dog, a Cheonan group playing legendary rock, like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Guns ‘n Roses

Cheongju International Craft Biennale

​Every two years, Cheongju is host to this event, which includes art galleries, craft exhibitions, performances, and hands-on experiences. 

It runs every day until October 25, so you still have plenty of time to take advantage of this festival. Tickets are 10,000 won at the door, or 8,000 in advance online.

There are special performances or events on Friday and Saturday nights, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. It's open 9am to 6pm.

It is located in Naedeok-dong, near the bus stop for the Cheongju Industrial Complex (청주문화산업단지). You can say the name of the event to a taxi driver: 공예 비엔날레 ("gohng-yay bee-en-nahl-lay").
