Airports
Cheongju International Airport
We have our very own airport! Unfortunately, since it is small, it serves very few routes. Currently, it flies domestically to Jeju, and internationally to Bangkok, Thailand and Hangzhou, China. Flights to other destinations run on an irregular basis. It is very convenient for flying to Jeju, but make sure you book in advance, because weekend and holiday flights sell out fast. There are a few buses that go out to the airport, or take a taxi.

Incheon International Airport
Gimpo International Airport
Gimpo serves primarily domestic flights and limited international flights to Japan, Taiwan, and China. It is located just west of Seoul. Take a bus from the Shiwae/Intercity Terminal. Ask for 김포공항 ("keem-poh gohng-hahng") The buses run about every hour and a half from 5:40am to 8:00pm.

Incheon International Airport
- Getting to the Airport from Cheongju: Take a bus from the Shiwae/Intercity Terminal (not Express). Ask for 인천공항 ("een-chuhn gohng-hahng")-- that is for the airport. DO NOT get a bus to just Incheon, the city. Assume the bus will take about 2 1/2 hours, although it may be faster or slower depending on traffic (usually about 2 hours).
- Getting to Cheongju from the Airport: You can buy your tickets in the airport at the bus ticket desks near the exits, or outside in the ticket booths. Make sure to say Cheongju as "chuhng-joo" (NOT "choong-joo" or "juhn-joo"-- those are different cities!) The bus stop to go to is 9D. If you go out exit 9, and cross the street, you will see the 9D bus stop.
