Cheongju International Craft Biennale

Every two years, Cheongju is host to this event, which includes art galleries, craft exhibitions, performances, and hands-on experiences. 

It runs from September 11 to October 20, so you have plenty of time to take advantage of this festival. Tickets are 10,000 won at the door.

There are special performances or events on Friday and Saturday nights, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. It's open 9am to 6pm, but on Fridays and Saturdays, it stays open until 9pm.

It is located in Naedeok-dong, near the bus stop for the Cheongju Industrial Complex (청주문화산업단지). You can say the name of the event to a taxi driver: 공예비엔날레 ("gohng-yay bee-en-nahl-lay").
